Eye health & eyecare client

Logo, Style Guide + Marketing strategy

2021

Role

Account Management, Brand Design, Web Design

Brief

Create the logos and style guide and build the websites of the European Eye Center clinic and the eyewear shop Top Vision.

Increase the online presence of the clinic and build it from scratch for the shop by putting up a marketing strategy. This included producing social media posts and blogs.

At a glance

Situation

The EEC clinic was already well-known in HCMC but desired a brand refresh and to expand their online presence outside of their already built community.

The owners were about to build an eyewear shop in the same building to get more space for each activity.

Insights

The head doctor of the clinic is a prominent figure in Vietnam’s medical field, so we agreed with the client to carry out a minimal refresh of the clinic’s logo and focus our efforts on social media and the blog to reinforce the clinic’s expertise in eye health.

For the optical shop, we decided to take a more fashion-oriented direction to showcase the products.

The shop: top vision eyewear

For the logo, we emulated the fashion brand aesthetic by picking a light sans serif font and slightly elongated letters.

*The shop changed owners since then and the website has been updated.

Brand

The original logo had some issues with scalability and it felt too complex. So we went with a very minimalist eye icon. The color palette was enriched with a deeper blue and medium teal to improve visual hierarchy and readability.

Website

The content and layout of the website was cleaned up a bit to focus more on the different services and procedures available at the clinic. This effort was also supported by the addition of informative content about the procedures themselves.

A photoshoot of the clinic was also handled by our team with a photographer.
